Relationships are key in any business, especially so in the Middle East. Having people on the ground to manage your brand is the key to its success. A solid strategy and the ability to execute that strategy with the right partners, who have a clear understanding of where your brand needs to go and how to get there, is vital. The best laid plans need to be reviewed and reworked which makes it essential to have people in the market to monitor and report on its growth path.
I have over 35 years’ experience within the region in both Global Multinational Companies and local conglomerates, having been the Managing Director for both Kelloggs and Mccain Foods in the region and prior to that, Commercial Director for Gulf Food Industries (California Garden).
